"Decent service, but the pricing feels a bit misleading"
I like what Patriot Mobile stands for, and getting the plan set up was simple. Coverage has been fine for me most days too, so I don’t really have any major complaints there.
My issue is more with the pricing and how it’s worded. It sounds like you’re getting a better deal than you actually are, but once you compare it to other prepaid options, it feels a little high for what’s included. Not terrible, just not the great value I expected.

"Activation was a real hassle"
I tried signing up with Patriot Mobile, and the whole activation process was frustrating. The steps weren’t very clear, so I ended up contacting support more than once. I was also left wondering about what was going on with my number transfer. It felt slow and confusing, like no one was really taking ownership of the issue. Not the best first impression
"My bill just never make sense"
My charges was changing all the time and every time I asked about it, nobody really explain it in a way that made sense. I just felt like I was paying different amounts for no clear reason.

"Not a fit for me at all"
I just wanted basic phone service, not some weird little mix of cell plans, politics, and churchy messaging. The whole “mission” thing felt way too wrapped up in causes I don’t support, and it came off preachy and unnecessary.
Maybe that’s appealing to some people, but it’s definitely not for me. I don’t need my phone bill trying to make a statement every month like it’s doing something profound.

I don’t know how something as simple as getting a signal can be this frustrating. The coverage kept dropping on me all over the place, and half the time it barely worked where I needed it to. Just made an easy thing way harder than it should be

"Setup was fine, but check your phone first"
I got it set up and my phone did end up working, but the compatibility check was more confusing than it really needed to be. Common sense says it should be clear upfront whether your phone will work or not. Once I got past that part, everything was okay.

Support did get back to me and the answer helped a bit, so it’s not even about that. It just took longer than I expected, and I wish the response had been a little quicker.

My calls keep dropping all the time, and the data barely works when I need it. It’s been really frustrating because even simple things feel like a hassle with this kind of "service."

"I needed to update a few things on..."
I needed to update a few things on my account, and the online dashboard was fine for the basic stuff. Totally fine. But some of the settings were not very clear, so I ended up having to call support, which was exactly the peaceful little detour I was hoping for.
The person I spoke with was polite and did eventually get everything handled, so I’m not saying it was a disaster. It just got a bit annoying because they said they’d follow up, and then I had to ask twice before that actually happened. Very calm about it, obviously.
Overall, it was okay. Not awful, not impressive, just kind of average. If they were better about tracking open issues and following through when they say they will, the whole thing would feel a lot less frustrating...
